Firefighters from Hill Air Force Base visited our school this Tuesday to instruct students on fire safety and more. Students had the opportunity to wear protective fire gear and climb around the fire engine to see what it might be like to be a firefighter.
They also had a lot of fun running through an obstacle course designed to simulate the physical endurance and training a professional firefighter must have to navigate dangerous situations. Students even got to operate the fire hose!
We'd like to thank the Hill Air Force Base Fire Department for their efforts in creating a fun and engaging activity for our students to learn more about fire safety and firefighting.
