six teachers and one spouse dressed in 1950s clothing on the stage

This morning at Hill Field Elementary, our K–6 students gathered for a special Marcy and Jesse assembly all about courage!

Our teachers took us back to the 1950s with a fun and creative skit that had students laughing while learning an important lesson: courage means standing up for what is right, even when it’s hard.

It was a great reminder that being courageous doesn’t mean something has to be easy- it means choosing to do the right thing even when it takes bravery.

We loved seeing our whole school come together to learn, laugh, and practice what it means to have courage!
