Our school is incredibly fortunate to have the support of our Foster Grandparents, Janet and Bill, who volunteer their time and talents in our first-grade classrooms. They provide extra hands and caring hearts as teachers carry out daily lessons and activities.
Bill and Janet work closely with students in small groups, offering additional support that helps improve learning outcomes. Whether practicing skills, reinforcing lessons, or simply offering encouragement, their presence makes a meaningful impact on student success.
Beyond academics, they help create a warm and welcoming classroom environment. Their kindness and consistency help students feel safe, comfortable, and confident at school. Teachers and students alike benefit from their calm, patient, and dependable support.
We are truly grateful for the commitment of Bill and Janet and the positive influence they have on our first graders each day. Our school community is lucky to have them, and we appreciate all they do to support our students and staff.
